Prime Minister Launches First Four Seasons in South East Asia

The Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk  Seri Najib Tun Razak recently launched the first Four Seasons Place in South East Asia.

The launch was witnessed by HRH the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and Tan Sri Syed Yusof Tun Syed Nasir who are shareholders of Venus Assets Sdn Bhd.

Four Seasons Place and Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur are the brand’s first integrated development in South East Asia, managed by Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts. The 1.5 million square-feet development will consist of over 300,000 square-feet of luxury retail space, with over 231 hotel rooms, as well as hotel service apartments and residences ranging from 1,300 to 12,000 square-feet in size per unit. The development is expected to be completed in four years’ time and will be a new landmark of the country’s capital located in Kuala Lumpur’s City Centre.

Private residence owners will enjoy the highest residential swimming pool located over 330 metres above ground or hosting dinner events at the highest level of the tower. Other Four Seasons facilities include private lifts, a swimming pool on the facility deck and club facilities made available on the lower and middle levels of the residential floors, which will boost the prestigious branded development.

Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur will provide the finest world-class five-star hospitality services to guests and residents. The private residences and hotel are both designed according to Four Seasons standards, providing world-class accommodation to residents and guests.  

The glittering launch event was held on the grounds of the future residences at Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur, and was attended by many dignitaries including Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor; Tourism Minister, Dato’ Seri Dr. Ng Yen Yen; and Kuala Lumpur Mayor, Datuk Ahmad Phesal Talib.
The Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur is a joint venture between HRH The Sultan of Selangor, Tan Sri Syed Yusof, Dato’ Ong Beng Seng and Dato’ David Ban. The brand’s expansion to Kuala Lumpur will play an important role to mould the country’s tourism sector into a luxury travel destination.
