Determined to start a new life, single mother, Sophia moves into an old apartment with her daughter, Helena. Everything turns out well, that is until Helena loses her baby tooth and starts to see strange visions and a mysterious figure which she comes to believe to be a tooth fairy. She then collects teeth from other children at school, saying that she needs to give them to the tooth fairy. Worried with her daughter’s condition, Sophia learns that the apartment in which she had moved into has a dark and sinister secret.
