The last Expat Mingle saw a whole heap of sporting fun, great food and fantastic company. Held at Gridiron Sports Bar in the hip Telawi area of Bangsar, this Mingle was particularly delightful, with around 70 sociable expats attending, adding to the alreadyawesome atmosphere of the place.
The weather was kind to us and didn’t pour down as it’s usually known to this time of year in Kuala Lumpur – which helped everyone show up on time! As guests arrived, they sipped on a choice of delightful red wine, or cooling white wine, along with Tiger beer sponsored by GAB.
Delicious and generous portions of finger food came in the form of crunchy spring rolls, crispy chicken and fish fingers, marvellous bruschetta, and chocolate brownies. As the night carried on, attendees got the chance to win some big prizes in this edition’s lucky draw, including dental vouchers, F&B vouchers, bottles of wine, and the prized 2-night stay at the ecotourism-friendly Bloo Lagoon resort in Bali.
All in all, it was a night of rambunctious fun. See you at the next one!
