Look to the Skies this Saturday to Witness a Full Moon Eclipse

On Saturday 4 April, look up to the skies at around 5.01pm to witness a full moon eclipse. This will be the only lunar eclipse visible in Malaysia this year.

According to a statement by the National Space Agency (Angkasa), the full moon eclipse will occur around 5.01 pm, when the moon enters the Earth’s penumbra.

In Sabah, the moon will appear earlier than in the Peninsula, at around 6pm. In Peninsula, the moon will appear at around 7.20pm. The full lunar eclipse phase will occur shortly after the moon appears.

For more updates on this, visit Angkasa’s website or call 03 22734403.
